    The Yokohama Arts Festival Executive Committee (hereafter referred to as “the committee”) collects site user information as necessary for the proper operation and services of the Yokohama OTOMATSURI 2013 website (hereafter referred to as “this site”).  The committee handles personal information with extreme precaution, abides by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related regulations, and collects, preserves and uses all personal information under the strictest management conditions.

    Under this Privacy Policy, personal information refers to identifying data such as name, phone number, address, email address and age as provided voluntarily by users on this site.
  3. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

    On this site we clarify the purpose of use of personal information prior to their acquisition through a legal and just means.
    Personal information collected for this site is, as a general rule, used only and specifically for the purposes indicated.
  4. Management of Personal Information

    Personal information acquired for this site is stored in its accurate and current condition and necessary procedures are taken to prevent leakage, loss, damage and fabrication.
    Personal information no longer necessary for the site is discarded and deleted immediately.
    The committee may delegate a portion of administrative duties to an outsourced entity for the smoother and more efficient operation of the site.
    In such cases also, we ensure the proper handling of private information by tying a contract with the outsourced entity and monitoring its use.
  5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    Personal information provided for the site will not be disclosed to a third party in cases other than the below circumstances: When permission for disclosure to a third party is given by the provider of personal information at the time of provision.  
    • When disclosure is requested in line with legal regulations.
    • When disclosure is necessary to an outsourced entity as mentioned in item 4, for the proper performance of relevant operations of the site.
  6. Request of Disclosure and Correction of Registered Information

    If there are personal requests for disclosure, correction or discontinuation of use of personal information, the site will handle requests accordingly upon verification that the information in question is that belonging to the requester.
